Thinking outside the classroom with EucA

“I appreciated having time to share with my fellow colleagues, and explore  the personal and professional aspects of life while visiting the various destinations.”

S.F., Italy

EucA continues to transform the way students learn through immersive global experiences. Recently, the focus was on two exciting Study Visits: the Public Health Study Visit in Geneva and the Tech Study Visit in Dublin, where students had the opportunity to explore industries, network with global leaders, and develop the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving world.

The Public Health Study Visit in Geneva, on 27-29 November, offered students a deep dive into the international healthcare and pharma industries. Immersed in one of the world’s most influential cities, students had the opportunity to engage with high-level professionals and learn firsthand about global healthcare systems. Through visits to key institutions such as the Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève (HUG), the United Nations, and the World Health Organization (WHO), students gained insights into the latest advancements in public health and the role of innovation in shaping the future of global healthcare.

Fast forward to 4-6 December and another group of students was off to Dublin for the Tech Study Visit. As one of Europe’s hottest tech hubs, the Irish capital offered the perfect environment to explore the world of innovation and creativity in tech. Students were encouraged to think critically and tackle real-world problems while engaging with leaders from big-name companies like DocuSign and IBM. Participants also toured University College Dublin’s impressive campus, famous for its forward-thinking approach to tech research and development.

“I had the amazing opportunity of talking to people who are currently in my dream job role.”

A.I, Italy

Both experiences were designed to inspire students to step out of their comfort zones, adapt to new settings, and think strategically about their futures. Participants return to campuses ready to #makeachange!
