On 1-6 September 2024, a group of passionate students gathered in the stunning Azores, Portugal, for a transformative Sustainability Summer School with EucA.
Against the backdrop of volcanic landscapes and breathtaking ocean views, participants explored how sustainability issues directly affect their social, economic, and personal lives.
Students engaged in making ethical consumer choices and practicing sustainable consumption through intensive training sessions, lectures at the University of the Azores, and enriching visits to CIVISA, Azores Seismovolcanic Information and Surveillance Center.

Participants actively volunteered with local environmental project - Life IP Azores Natura, helping to restore coastal ecosystems, plant native trees, and support conservation efforts on the island.
Students immersed themselves in the rich culture of the Azores, enjoying activities like whale watching and discovering the region’s natural wonders.
The group returned home empowered with new, actionable practices and a renewed passion for driving sustainable change both within their communities and on campus.
